L. Novick is an Albertan debut author who writes emotionally driven, psychologically complex fiction. Her stories examine trauma, and the uncomfortable spaces between love, emotional truth and self-destruction. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, spending time with her three boys, or helping individuals experiencing chronic pain through bodywork and holistic techniques.

Rip Me Apart is her debut novel and the first installment in The Ace of Hearts Series. Her work centers morally gray characters, asking not who is good or bad—but how people are shaped by what they survive. She believes stories are one of the few places where brokenness can be examined honestly, without being softened or excused.

Though she currently writes within the realms of psychological thriller and dark romance, L. Novick enjoys the challenge of fully committing to a theme and exploring it in depth.
